Plan on 15–30 minutes for a first visit at Fusion: a consultation, an exam, a plan explained in plain English, and in most cases your first treatment the same day. Follow-up visits usually take 10 minutes or less.
Before you arrive
- Photo ID and insurance card
- A list of current medications
- Any recent imaging or reports
- For accidents: police report number and claim information
- For Workers' Comp: employer and claim details
- Comfortable clothing you can move in
During the visit
- Consultation. We start with your history, your symptoms and what you want to get back to.
- Examination. Orthopedic, neurological and movement testing to pinpoint the cause. Imaging only if the exam calls for it.
- Your care plan. What we found, which disciplines are right for you, how long it should take and what your insurance covers.
- First treatment. In most cases, care begins the same day.
After your first visit
Some people feel mild soreness after early adjustments, similar to after exercise. Tell us how you feel at your next visit so we can adjust your plan.
